Can a person grow without changing? According to Pastor Mark Hanke, the answer is no. “To reach God’s best, it means moving on from where you are currently.” He says, “God knows how to get us moving,” giving examples including, but not limited to, “teaching, circumstances, conviction of the Holy Spirit, and loss.” Pastor Hanke believes that God will change us, so that we will grow. “God uses the force necessary to accomplish His mission.”
